Sixty nine percent of U.S. e-mail users have made purchases online after receiving permission-based e-mail marketing, 59 percent have purchased in retail stores, 39 percent have purchased through catalogues, 34 percent through call centres and 20 percent through postal mail."
Not withstanding hte importance of that

Those facts even if they are only half true means that an autoresponder is vital, it allows you to connect to your customers instantly. Now you may well ask yourself why you need an autoresponder ...can't you just reply yourself. Of course you can, but it does not guarantee that your e mail is read.

Let me give you an example you are in California on Pacific standard time and you are an affiliate marketer. You have a potential interested customer in Manchester England and there is an eight hour time difference. They E-mail to you a question at 10.00 AM their time. Unfortunately it is 02.00 in hte morning your time. No problem you e-mail them back when you wake.

Unfortunately your potential customers misses the e-mail. Either because they think it is spam several hours later, or they be bothered to read it because they went and bought somewhere else. There is never any guarantee that soemone will read your e- mails at any time. However they are more likely to read them if they are sent immediately, just after their query.

There are many companies offering the service, but the fact that all the big boys of Internet marketing use AWeber speaks for itself. How do I know before I spent my dosh I looked at about twenty opt in lists and the link to AWeber was on a hundred percent of them. Not once did I see another name, but
AWeber
